Accelerating Learning Through Equitable Access to Advanced STEM Education Post-COVID-19
From its founding, the National Math and Science Initiative has increased access and achievement in advanced STEM education for secondary students previously underserved or deemed unprepared for the rigors of college-level learning. With that background, NMSI CEO Dr. Bernard Harris will moderate a conversation to highlight how education leaders are planning to go beyond learning loss so their students can succeed in advanced learning and lead the next generation of global innovators. The discussion will feature Dr. Lisette Rodriguez, Executive Director of Advanced Academics at Miami Dade County Public Schools, Dr. Jovan Wells, Chief Academic Officer of Garland Independent School District in Texas, and Jay Brady, Principal of Clovis High School in Clovis, New Mexico.
